They both leapt at the opportunity to work together and the collaboration created a golf course that is unique, challenging, playable and yes, even walkable, according to Price.

“This course is spread over 180 acres, yet it is easy and very picturesque to walk the course because there is an aura of seclusion here,” said Price.

Fazio looked at it from a slightly different perspective: “When a person stands at each hole, I want them to have a ‘Wow’ factor. Even while we were under construction, the response we received from those who saw the course was ‘Wow.’”

They both agreed on one thing, however. “The challenge is to make this golf course play well for the low handicap players and for those with a 15-20 handicap as well. So we have multiple tees. That is the fun part of the game. There are no absolutes with the game. Nick and I created distinctive golf holes,” said Fazio, “and there are endless opportunities on the course.”
